Embedded Vision track at the Embedded World 2018
In 2018, the embedded vision topic is again strengthened, with the support of VDMA Machine Vision.
The embedded world Exhibition & Conference (27 February – 1 March 2018 in Nuremberg; 2018 in its 16th year) is the world's leading meeting place for the embedded systems community. With about 1,700 participants in the conference and over 30,000 visitors of the show, the embedded world is a well-established platform and market place for embedded technologies in Europe, targeting at developers, project and product managers that are looking for new trends and technologies – persons you need to connect with when approaching the topic embedded vision in Europe. In 2018, the embedded vision topic is again strengthened, with the support of VDMA Machine Vision.
In 2018, the conference track on embedded vision includes in total 22 presentations covering 2 days (four half-day sessions):
- Session 07 I: Embedded Vision I - Architecture & Development I on 27 February 2018, from 09:30 – 12:30
- Session 07 II: Embedded Vision II - Architecture & Development II on 27 February, from 14:30 – 17:30
- Session 25: Embedded Vision III: Cameras, Modules & Solutions on 28 February, from 14:30 – 17:30
- Session 29: Embedded GUI & Augmented Reality on 1 March, from 09:30 - 12:30

embedded world Conference 2018 - Embedded Goes Autonomous
It is embedded systems that make the whole Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, in short, digitization, possible in the first place. And technical development continues to move at a faster and faster pace. It is therefore all the more important for hardware and software developers to exchange their experiences with each other, to discuss potential solutions and to continue to develop their skills in the search for efficient solutions.
With a program of high-quality and solution-oriented presentations, the embedded world Conference 2018 aims to once more contribute to the success of an industry that has now become an essential part of the technological future and, as such, a basis for our continued economic success.
The embedded world Conference 2018 is made up of 7 subject areas. These are: Embedded OS, Security & Safety, Hardware Engineering, Software and Systems Engineering, IoT, Embedded Vision and Autonomous Systems. The solution-oriented presentations of each session build upon one another and examine questions from different perspectives. Discussion and an active exchange of ideas with the speakers as well as among conference participants is encouraged. The half-hour presentations of the sessions will be complemented by Classes, which provide comprehensive basic information on selected topics in the form of condensed training courses.
